Attention to financial anxiety and its management in recent years has been the focus of researchers in the field of mental health. Therefore on this basis the purpose of this study was the study effectiveness of financial narrative therapy on decreasing Isfahan city female employee's financial anxiety. This research is a semi-experimental research with pretest-posttest design with control group. The statistical population of this study included all female employees in Isfahan city in year of 2017 and 30 individual were selected by available sampling. They were randomly assigned to two groups in control group (15 persons) and experimental group (15 persons). To collect information, the Financial Anxiety Scale (Archuleta & et al., 2013) was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The financial narrative therapy was applied to the experimental group in eight 90-minute sessions. Data were analyzed using SPSS 20 software and one-way covariance analysis (ANCOVA). The results showed that there was a significant difference between the mean post-test of the experimental and control groups in the variable of financial anxiety.
